NEW IDBA Contract Win

PDS are proud to announce the signing of another contract with the Rugby Football Union.   We are now providing an Instant Database Administration service to assist the RFU's internal support team to safely manage all SQL Servers on site at Twickenham and off site at a hosting company.  The proactive nature of the service will help to ensure the efficient administration of Rugby in England.

Should any event of interest on SQL Server arise PDS staff are automatically notified via email and SMS alerts to a mobile phone and where appropriate, we provide remote support.  This is achieved using inbuilt features of SQL Server and standardised SQL scripts that configure the whole database environment and culminate with maintenance plans and alerts.  No third party software is required.  In addition to the standard events of interest each server has supplementary jobs and alerts that address more specific conditions.  See our 'Services' page for more information.
